  1. Elephant springs:

New elephant springs are open to public after many years of waiting. Asian elephants at the zoo now have more space thanks to Elephant Springs. Male horned Rhino Parvesh relishes his new watering hole in the Elephant Springs.

  1. African Savannah Exhibit:

Started in 2018, the new African Savannah Exhibit lets you watch giraffes, gazelle, ostriches, white pelicans and others in a natural environment. If you want to feed the giraffes do bring $6 cash to buy lettuce leafs. The African themed village has dining areas and a gift shop. Enjoy the above and below water viewing of the Hippo Keeper Talk in the new hippo enclosure. !  When these aquatic giants lift their heads to receive food from their keepers, it’s hard not to love them.

Situated at Texas Wild, the Yellow Rose Express Train takes you on a ride through the zoo. Hop on the yellow express, which travels between the Safari Depot and Texas Wild. One-way tickets are $4 per person and are available at the Train Depot in both locations.

  1. Australian Outback and Tazmanian Tower:

Discover Australian wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, and more before challenging your lemur climbing skills at Tazmanian Tower.

  1. Safari Splash:

Unwind at this fun jungle-themed 14,000 square-foot splash area with no standing water. Although it is designed for children under 12 years of age but it is open for all ages. Admission cost is $5/person with general zoo tickets. Safari splash is a water play area with four slides, a water dump tower, a fill wall for water toys, animals shaped water cannons and a toddler play area. There are restrooms available. There are tables and chairs under the umbrella and lounge chairs are also available.

  1. MOLA Museum of Living Art:

From Gharial crocodiles to the Komodo Dragons, the museum of Living Art is genuinely terrific place to visit. MOLA is a beautiful place of the wild reptiles, amphibians and lizards and created a stunning space to display them. Inside MOLA is a café, which looks out onto the crocodile tank.

  1. Asian Falls:

Although construction workers are busy at work building one of the zoo’s most intriguing new exhibits, you can get a sneak look by going to Asian Falls, where you can see them constructing your new favourite lion park. The lions, tigers, and other creatures in this part will not be shown until the project is concluded, which is expected to be in 2023.

Ride the Yellow Rose Express Train at the Fort Worth Zoo as a junior train conductor. Alongside Yellow Rose Express employees, participants will help with ticket collection, guest greet, preparing the train for departure, and ringing the bell at intersections.
